Unlike traditional healthcare models where patients are assigned or moved between providers, each provider independently chooses the patients they wish to welcome into their practice. Once accepted, patients become part of that provider's personal practice—not a practice owned or managed by NEM.
We believe this personalized approach benefits everyone involved by creating stronger connections, greater satisfaction, and more consistent care over time.

Workgroups
Medical concerns do not stop just because you have left the doctor's office.
NEM has created specialized Workgroups, spaces designed to expand on the care that providers and specialists can provide to patients, even if they are not directly being seen.
Workgroups can range from spaces for patients with individual diagnosed conditions to discuss their experiences to educational growth for providers about a variety of medical topics.
How it Works
For Patients Seeking a Provider:
Finding the right provider begins with getting to know you.

Browse available providers who are accepting new patients.

Complete a confidential patient application.

Participate in an interview conducted by NEM to better understand your healthcare goals and expectations.

Your application is presented to the provider for review.

If accepted, you become a patient of that provider's practice and begin building a long-term healthcare relationship.
Our process is designed to ensure that both patient and provider feel confident in the partnership from the very beginning.
For Providers Accepting Patients:
As a provider, you have the opportunity to review prospective patients before accepting them into your practice. After each applicant completes an interview with NEM, you'll receive a summary to help you make an informed decision.
You remain in complete control of your patient list. Every acceptance decision is yours, allowing you to cultivate a practice built on compatibility, trust, and continuity of care.
For Anyone Looking to Join a Workgroup:
You can find more information about existing workgroups to help patients and providers share and learn more about any condition or topic. If you do not see a workgroup aligning with your needs, please feel free to submit a Workgroup Creation form and NEM will work to create the workgroup.
