Dr. Powen Hsu, MD is a board-certified physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Addiction Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to running his own private practice since 1999, Dr. Hsu acts as Medical Director for the Manchester Doorway Program at Elliot Hospital, which provides coordinated treatment and supportive services for those living with substance use disorder. His practice focus includes chronic pain management, management of SUD with a special interest in development of BZD treatment protocol, and rehabilitation and lifelong treatment of chronic disabling conditions such as EDS.
